These foods will help you to feel full on a regular basis and they will help your body to burn additional calories which will be recognized as weight loss.
The difficult thing is, eating chicken breasts and tuna fish on a regular basis can get extremely boring. That is why many people who do this tend to either flavor their foods rather heavily or to try to mix it up as much as possible, by perhaps eating them with a salad or mixing them with some low-fat mayonnaise. These are excellent choices to have regularly if you want to add protein in your diet.
The Amazing Egg

The egg is probably one of the most perfect foods that is found in nature and not only is it complete in and of itself, it is also very high in protein. People eat these all throughout the day, and in many cases, they may eat only egg whites along with a single egg yolk in order to add flavor.
Something that I like to do in order to add more eggs into my diet is to hard boil them and keep a ready supply of them in the refrigerator. Boiling eggs can be a little bit difficult, especially if you over boil them as it can make them rather difficult to peel. The perfect way to boil an egg is to put them in a pot of water with a dash of baking soda so that they are covered by about an inch of water and then to bring the water to a boil. Once the water boils, turn it off and allow the eggs to sit in the hot water for 12 minutes. After that, throw a lot of ice into the water in order to cool it quickly and stop the cooking process. Your eggs will be perfectly cooked and the baking soda will turn the water alkaline and make them easy to peel.
Nonmeat Sources
You might be surprised to learn that some of the foods that are at the top of the list of high protein foods are not necessarily going to be meat. As a matter of fact, there are some amazing vegetables which have a lot of protein and can give it to you in a much more natural form than eating animal flesh. There are also some other reasons why you might want to consider getting your protein from that source.
The human body is unable to actually use protein in order to add muscle to the body. In order for the protein to be utilized by the body, it must be broken down into its enzymes and they are then absorbed into the body as fuel for our muscles. When we eat animal flesh, many of the proteins have been cooked to the point where they are no longer live and the resulting enzymes are not going to be as healthy for us as possible.
That is where eating raw vegetables comes in. Whenever you eat vegetables that are high in protein, such as kale, you are not going to be getting the protein in your system but rather, the enzymes that make up the protein. This cuts the middlemen out of the process and allows your body to absorb all that it needs to absorb in order to build itself up and to repair itself properly.
Using Powders in a Pinch
There may also be times whenever you want to get additional protein in your system and you do so through a protein shake. There are so many of these protein shakes that are available on the market that it can be difficult to choose the one that you are going to use on a regular basis. In reality, however, you should make sure to choose as healthy a protein shake as possible.
